PAYMENT PROCEDURES |
We accept all Credit/Debit cards including American Express. Card orders will only be dispatched to the cardholders address, for an alternative address please contact us to arrange another form of payment. We also accept cheques made payable to: ACTION BIKES, but goods will not be dispatched until funds have been cleared. We accept cash within store and recommend you do not post it. For orders outside the UK we ask for goods to be paid by bank transfer.
We also offer a Finance option by Clydesdale bank, this offers you six months interest free credit and can only be applied for on orders over £300.00. This form of credit can only be processed by visiting us within store. To apply you will also need two forms of identification. One must contain your home address.
Incorrect details at time of payment will delay your order. Please check you have given the correct details and cheques have been signed. |

PAYMENT SECURITY |
We value your custom our secure ordering system is hosted by Secure Hosting Ltd whom use 128 bit encrypted connection. This is for your protection. Goods will only be dispatched to the registered billing address.
Please note: Fraudulent payments will be passed onto the police. No exceptions.

BACKORDERS |
At times we will temporarily run out of stock of certain bikes or accessories. This means your order will go directly onto our back order system. We shall contact you to advise of time scale of new delivery. We will only charge you 25% of the order and will refund you should we not achieve. The balance is payable upon shipping. If we do not have your good within the agreed time scale you have to right to cancel and we will refund you your deposit. If you cancel within the agreed time scale you will lose you deposit. You may contact us by phone or email.
If we cannot source an item due to being discontinued we will contact you. We aim to please and will advise of an alternative product. |

PRICES |
All prices quoted include 17.5% VAT and are in sterling pounds.
Offers are subject to availability. We shall contact if we have run out stock of an offer item to arrange a suitable alternative.
We reserve the right to make price changes to products without notice. Also specification is subject to change by our manufacturers.
We are human and, as a result, sometimes may make mistakes in the displayed pricing. No price advertised on this website constitutes a contractually obligated offer to sell to you at the displayed price. We reserve the right to alter the price even after you have made an offer to buy at the displayed price, however you are not contractually obliged to continue with the purchase at the revised price. Where a price is displayed incorrectly due to an error on our part we will contact you to inform you of that error and to offer you the opportunity to continue with the purchase at the revised amount or cancel your offer to buy. |

PRICE MATCH POLICY |
Our price match offer is only available at the time of purchase and does not continue after your purchase is complete.
We will only price match against authorized dealers and only if the goods are the exact same as quoted eg: size, model, colour.
We will not price match non-authorised dealerships or auction sites e.g. Ebay.
We believe we offer good customer satisfaction and pride ourselves on our back up service. |

POSTAGE CHARGES |
We aim to be fair with all Package and Postage charges. To find out how much the charges will be for your chosen product(s), add them to the shopping cart.
Any initially quoted charges are for UK mainland only (this means mainland England, Wales and most areas of Scotland). Some areas of Scotland attract higher charges; this is governed by our carriers. Some offshore islands also cost more to ship to. Please check that you have selected the correct delivery region, update your cart and the costs for delivery to that region will be displayed. If you decide, after seeing the charges, that you do not wish to order, please simply set your product selection quantities to zero (0) and recalculate your cart.
We aim to despatch your goods the same day as we receive cleared payment. Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday and hours of 9am-5pm. We regret we cannot guarantee a delivery time nor can we guarantee next day delivery.
Upon delivery you will be required to sign for the goods. If goods are returned to us as unable to deliver we will add second postage charge to release. We will contact you if this is the case. We have the right to take 28 days to deliver your goods however most orders are received much sooner than this.
Important
All items are checked before despatch and boxed to a high standard to help prevent transit damage. If, upon receipt, you notice that the delivery packaging is in any way damaged, please mark this on the delivery docket. If you sign for goods without making a note of any damage on the delivery driver's paperwork, we will be unable to make a claim for damaged in transit goods from the courier company and you become liable for the damage.
All cycles conform to BS6102/1 and are PDI checked within our onsite workshop. Your cycle will come with its own manufacturers handbook. If you need any further help please not hesitate to contact us by phone or email. We will be happy to help. |

RETURNS PROCEDURES |
You have a legal right to change your mind and return any goods ordered for UP TO 7 WORKING DAYS FROM RECEIPT
If you wish to exercise your right to change your mind, please contact us in the first instance to inform us of your decision and gain a returns number. Call: 01473 257111
You the customer remain wholly responsible for the goods until they are received by us.
The cost of returning goods to us is entirely your responsibility. You are advised to use a signed for, insured delivery service to return goods to us. Goods lost or damaged in transit whilst being returned are still your responsibility and deductions may be made from any refund you are entitled to to cover the loss of or damage to goods.
Goods must be returned within 7 working days of receiving them commencing the working day after receipt.
Goods must be returned unused, in their original condition, original packaging and with any labels still attached. Goods must be returned boxed.
If goods are returned because you have changed your mind we will charge you an administration fee of £12.50 to cover our direct out of pocket costs in dealing with your return. This is deducted from your final refund.
The costs of initial delivery to you will not be refunded either in part or whole.
We regret we cannot refund custom builds on bikes or wheels.

WARRANTY PROCEDURES |
All our goods are covered by a manufacturers warranty.
Should you be unlucky enough have a problem we ask the following:
1) Contact us to explain the problem and gain a returns number. Call: 01473 257111
2) It is your responsibility to return the goods to us. Unfortunately postage costs cannot be recovered. We will cover costs of posting on the replacement part.
3) Goods should be returned with original receipt or proof of purchase.
4) We can only act on a warranty claim once we have received the item, upon which we will turn around as quick as possible. We aim to keep you cycling.
5) Goods should be returned clean, dirt free.
6) Please remember to enclosed your contact details and details of your original purchase ie a copy of your original sales invoice/receipt or proof of purchase.

PLEASE NOTE: We ask you to be honest with us and we will not act on defects caused by general wear and tear, lack of maintenance, abuse or crash damaged. |
